NAST Delivery team is focused on designing, building, implementing, and supporting scalable quality outcomes for our customers with a primary focus on automated digital solutions to reduce manual tasks in close partnership with our product organization.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with other software engineers to design software solutions of limited complexity that support… business processes requiring little or no architectural changes to technology
• Satisfy requirements of limited complexity by implementing code and collaborating with engineering product manager(s) and peers
• Write code using secure programming patters and by finding, fixing, and enhancing security in existing applications
• Design and execute effective tests to validate unit and functional components
• Optimize, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability while ensuring maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment
• Identify performance and availability issues of stand-alone applications and help to debug for a single application
• Learn and adopt coding standards and generally accepted best practices
• Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation for features
• Estimate time for own application development effort
• Proactively seek mentorship from other engineers and provide feedback and ideas for improving team-oriented behaviors
• Follow and provide feedback on the engineering lifecycle while abiding by established best practices and collaborating on new topics
Required Qualifications:
• Coursework or experience in one or more of the following areas: object-oriented design, relational database design, web development, mobile app development, desktop application development and high school diploma/GED
• Experience working with a team, successfully delivering on a project
• Experience using (or exposure with) languages such as .NET/C#, JavaScript, Java
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, MIS, or other technology degree
• 1 year of work (or internship) experience within a technology team
• Understanding of basic database concepts, normalization, and transactions
• Understanding of basic source control systems (ex. GitHub)
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A learning and growth mindset that is open to giving and receiving feedback

Compensation Range
$59,300.00 – $123,200.00
