Job Description

Our team’s role is optimization of yield of Intel products across all test sockets. We strive to enable faster/better decision-making for our team and our partners in the areas of yield, quality, and test. We work closely with automation to develop automated systems to extract, transform, analyze, visualize, and monetize data into tangible findings that can be optimized within the Fab process or test efficiency. Our team utilizes custom Big Data processing tools, advanced Machine Learning techniques, and domain knowledge of Intel’s chip fabrication process and products.

This role is for a software developer working directly with the yield engineering experts within the team to define and develop analytical-visualization capabilities to improve product yields across test sockets.

Core responsibilities will include:
• Designing, testing and developing software to meet user requirements. Direct interface with business experts to mock up and design capabilities
•… Contributing to team code bases using good source control and software development practices
• Technical leadership, architecting sustainable solutions, steering user group discussions and mentoring other developers on the team
• Must be effective communicating in team environment, will be interfacing frequently with customer and platform software engineering team with which solutions will be co-developed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of industry/practical experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong software engineering experience. Or
• Master’s degree with 1+ years of industry/practical experience in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or a related field with strong software engineering experience. Or
• PhD with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong software engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstration of back-end/front-end software architecture and design practices with solution examples is a must.
• Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies: Django, Javascript, Angular.
• Experience with Fab / Sort data retrieval and processing in Python or C#
• Working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms via direct course work or knowledge gained in industry.
• Experience in trouble shooting and root cause analysis for performance issues.
• Experience with source control tools (GIT) and ability to review code
• Fluency in Python or C# in the context of data analytics desired.
• Strong skills around integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Experience in leveraging open-source packages is desired.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or test yield engineering is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience using current web technologies (ASP, NodeJS, React, VueJS, etc.).

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs
